To conclude, worldview matters. It’s not all that matters. But it is part of the dynamic which drives human action, which also includes our material conditions and our social relations. If we want to effect radical change, then we must work to change all three of these, including those “interior states” like worldview or paradigm, spirituality and religious belief.
To periodically enjoy the pleasures of life is a fine thing and should be celebrated, and that indeed is an attractive feature of Paganism. The feeling pleasure should be a positive thing and not demonized and be a taboo in society.
Throughout history, there has been no single culture that has stayed “pure” nor will there ever be such a culture, and it is willful ignorance to believe so. So it is counter productive to try to prevent cultural mixing. … To ignore the various cultures around us is to ignore our humanity. And to the greatest extent – it causes wars.
